Kathleen has been with JBT since 1989 starting as an Analyst before Managing the Credit Reporting Department.  She has given presentations on JBT services, good credit practices, AML compliance and more.

Saville Stern

Saville Stern is the Chief Operating Officer of RapNet, the Rapaport Group’s diamond trading network.

He graduated in 1994 with degree in Business Science and in 1996 he completed his LLB (Bachelors of Law). 

Saville began his professional career as a tax consultant at Ernst & Young and Arthur Anderson until 2002. Following that he joined Rapaport Group where he supervised the Legal and Compliance Department.  In 2005 he was made the Chief Operating Officer of RapNet and successfully grew the online diamond trading website from 3,000 members to more than 17,000 members today.

Sara Yood

Senior Counsel
Jewelers Vigilance Committee

Sara Yood, Senior Counsel at the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC), is an attorney admitted in the state of New York with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Sara’s responsibilities at JVC include anti-money laundering compliance, trademark monitoring, trademark litigation, advertising monitoring, creating legal compliance tools and publications, and general legal strategy.

She has developed an additional expertise in U.S. and international laws concerning the importation and exportation of animal materials used in jewelry, and has authored multiple JVC publications illustrating the laws surrounding the jewelry industry.

Sara came to JVC from a fellowship at the Fashion Law Institute at Fordham Law School, where she received her law degree.  Yood also serves as the Treasurer and on the board of the Women’s Jewelry Association.
